Brown Headed Barbet

Brown Headed Barbet is an Asian bird. It is found mainly in Northern India. It forages in the thick Burroughs of trees eating berrie and insects. It has a very typical call which can be heard long distances.

My name is Ranjit Singh. I was born in 1953. I did my M.Sc. in Chemistry from Panjab University in 1975. I joined India's Premier E&P Industry called ONGC in 1978. I rose to the rank of DGM at the time of retirement in 2013 after working for 35 years. During my stint I worked in analytical chemistry labs, Oil Rigs drilling and Production.
