Black Francolin

Black Francolin (Francolinus francolinus) is a game bird. Its voices can be heard during all day. Males call standing on mounds, rocks or small poles and lower branches of tree. The bird seems to have very keen eyesight. Picture by taken near Ghaggar river shore in Mubarikpur.
