Laughing dove (Spilopelia senegalensis) belongs to Pigeon family. It is the resident of Asia, Africa and Australia. It is generally found in the scrub areas and near human populations. It most feeds on the seeds of plants.

My name is Ranjit Singh. I was born in 1953. I did my M.Sc. in Chemistry from Panjab University in 1975. I joined India's Premier E&P Industry called ONGC in 1978. I rose to the rank of DGM at the time of retirement in 2013 after working for 35 years. During my stint I worked in analytical chemistry labs, Oil Rigs drilling and Production.
