Purple Heron

Purple heron is a water wading bird. It has a very long neck. It is found in water bodies in which lots of wild grasses grow so as to partially hide it. It is found in Asia and Africa. It catches fish and other water animals.

My name is Ranjit Singh. I was born in 1953. I did my M.Sc. in Chemistry from Panjab University in 1975. I joined India's Premier E&P Industry called ONGC in 1978. I rose to the rank of DGM at the time of retirement in 2013 after working for 35 years. During my stint I worked in analytical chemistry labs, Oil Rigs drilling and Production.
